Welcome to the Viewbank Primary School website. We hope you find the information it contains helpful. Should there be anything about the school that you wish to clarify or discuss further, please do not hesitate to phone me, contact me via the school's email address, or come in for a chat.

The staff and parents of Viewbank Primary School have a strong commitment to creating a school environment which values caring for each other, respect and responsibility. We are also focused on enhancing the strong partnership between the home and school. We strive to develop each individual child's potential in all curriculum areas. We also emphasise the development of resilience in children through participation in a myriad of experiences promoting confidence, persistence, organisation, and getting along.

MEETING REMINDERS
Thursday, 26 February 2015 13:26

We have two meetings scheduled out of hours next week and for differing purposes. On Monday, I cordially invite all members of our 50th Birthday Celebrations Committee to a meeting in the staffroom commencing at 5pm. For those unaware, next February marks 50 years since Viewbank Primary School first opened its doors for public education and we have a range of activities in mind to celebrate this very important milestone. On Tuesday, March 3rd, the Out Of School Hours Committee will meet at 6.15pm to discuss all operational matters associated with the program.

CLASS REPRESENTATIVESAND PARENTS AND FRIENDS COMMITTEE
Thursday, 26 February 2015 13:26
You will recall that our approach to the ‘Parents And Friends’ Committee is a little bit different this year, with class representatives combining at a Grade level to coordinate one fundraising activity per grade level across 2015. The one AGM of this group has now been set for Thursday, March 5 at 7.00pm in the school hall. Hopefully, your willingness to be on this committee has by now been communicated to your child’s class teacher, so we very much look forward to meeting with you on that night, to set out the fundraising schedule for the year and to also elect a minimalist steering committee comprising President, Secretary and Treasurer for 2015.
