The staff and parents of Viewbank Primary School have a strong commitment to creating a school environment which values caring for each other, respect and responsibility. We are also focused on enhancing the strong partnership between the home and school. We strive to develop each individual child's potential in all curriculum areas. We also emphasise the development of resilience in children through participation in a myriad of experiences promoting confidence, persistence, organisation, and getting along.

Viewbank Primary School has a Twitter Account that operates as a message board. It is used to post reminders, projected bus arrival times for school camp buses (you would have NO idea how many phone calls we get on these days!!), updates on sporting/chess events, requests for assistance at working bees etc. If you would like to follow, type in viewbankps on the search engine when you are logged in to your twitter account. |

We offer prospective and current parents the opportunity to visit on specific Open Days during Education Week. In 2012, this day is scheduled for Thursday, May 31 from 9.30am until 3.00pm. During your visit you will be guided by our student leaders and given the chance to see our school in action. If you are unable to attend during the week, we are also having an Open Morning on a Saturday, so please come along. In 2012, this date has been set as Saturday, May 26 from 9am until 12 noon.
You are also welcome to visit our school at any point throughout the year. Please call (03) 9459 1512 to make an appointment with our Principal, Bill Kersing or our Assistant Principal, Suzanne Kot. |
