INFORMATION EVENING #1

This evening provides general information about our school and gives prospective parents the opportunity to meet staff and ask questions. In 2013 this will be held on Tuesday, May 14 at 7.30pm.

SCHOOL TOURS

You are welcome to visit our school at any point throughout the year. Please call (03) 9459 1512 to make an appointment with our Principal, Bill Kersing or our Assistant Principal, Suzanne Kot.

OPEN DAYS

During Education Week we also offer prospective and current parents the opportunity to visit our school. This years Open Day will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 9:30am to 3pm.  During your visit you will be guided by our student leaders and given the chance to see our school in action. If you are unable to attend during the week, we are also having an Open Morning on Saturday, May25, 2013, from 9am to 12noon. So please come along.

TRANSITION SESSIONS

We offer a series of morning sessions to introduce your children to our school. Students are involved in a variety of activities and are given the opportunity to meet staff and peers.

Sessions include:
Story Land ~ In the library, we share stories, complete an activity and have a very special visit from a very special guest. This session is scheduled for Thursday, August 15, 2013, from 9.30am until 10.30am

Maths Land ~ Children participate in various Maths activities, games, stories and songs in the School Hall. This session is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2013, from 9.30am until 10.30am

PMP Land ~ In the School Hall, children are given the opportunity to explore the equipment we use during Perceptual Motor Program. This session is scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2013, from 9.30am until 10.30am

INFORMATION EVENING #2

As 2014 draws nearer, our Information Evening will provide you with the information you need for preparing your child for Viewbank Primary School in 2014. You will find out your child’s grade, receive all the relevant beginning school information and meet your child’s teacher. This evening is confirmed as Thursday, November 28, 2013 from 7.30pm until 8.30pm

CLASSROOM SESSIONS

Finally, we offer two classroom sessions with your child's 2014 class and teacher during Term 4. These dates are Wednesday, December 4, 2013 and Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Both sessions run from 11.30am until 1.00pm.
